It's the most wonderful time of the year!

This is my home made Christmas card for 2011. I illustrated a winter wonderland scene using graphic shapes for snow, flying reindeer and the obligatory stationary robins and had it made into a 120mm square rubber stamp. With such a traditional design I avoided using the classic Christmas colours of red and green and instead opted for a vibrant clementine orange and an icy snowflake blue. Around 5 mince pies, three glasses of mulled wine and neon dyed fingertips later, I had a mountain of cards to send to my nearest and dearest. Bootiful.

Do Something Flash for Cash!

"Do Something Flash for Cash" is a downloadable fundraising pack for the children's charity Spurgeons. The pack is all about having fun whilst raising money, with ideas ranging from spaghetti eating races to swapping grannies!
I created several circus themed hand-drawn and vector illustrations using the charity's brand colours to run throughout the 47 page brochure. You can view and download the complete pack here.

Nautical Wedding Invite
For a nautical themed wedding I illustrated the couple in a white wooden boat on the sea, adding fun extras to the design including The Man in the Moon and their cat in the crow's nest.

'Original Wedding Tea Towel' designs go live!
Original Wedding Tea Towel asked me to create some invite designs for their new Boutique Range which launched today. Rock My Wedding has already written a great review which you can see here.
I illustrated three different ideas – 'All you need is Love' – a pink tower of banners and love hearts. 'Summer Peacocks' – two majestic patterned peacocks, and 'Balloon Ride' – a vibrant journey through the clouds. All the colours and text are editable so you can match them to your theme.
Find out more about the fantastic Original Wedding Tea Towels and order these designs online now from their website.

"That's mine!" at The Design Museum
I visited The Design Museum yesterday to take a look at the 'Brit Insurance Designs of the Year 2011' exhibition and was amazed to see some of my own work on show amongst the design greats!
Wallpaper* Custom Covers have been shortlisted in the 'Interactive' category of the awards and to my delight had a rolling display of their favourite covers on show, one of which was my kaleidoscope inspired design. With over 21,000 unique covers printed, I'm thrilled that mine stood out above others and is now on show for the world to see.
With amazing examples of exciting new design, like Jason Bruges Mimosa Installation, the 'Brit Insurance Designs of the Year 2011' exhibition is well worth a visit and is on at The Design Museum until 7th August 2011.

Christmas Card 2010
This is my 2010 Christmas card design. I created a cheap, fun and personal alternative to bought cards by carving a robin shape into a potato and printing onto recycled card using some red paint and a little festive glitter. Lovely stuff.
Campion Dance
Logo design for a youth urban dance group. I created a number of different design options, all using vibrant block colours and strong, bold shapes. The chosen design has been printed onto black sweatshirts ready for the group's audition for 'Britain's Got Talent 2011'.

Wedding Invite
The brief for this wedding invite was 'simple but sophisticated'. Using the wedding colour palette of ivory and purple I illustrated two birds fling beneath some trees. The invites were printed on ivory textured card with a RSVP section at the bottom for guests to return.
Carpenter Business Card
A freelance carpenter asked me to design his business card. The chosen design was a bold blue and yellow, with an illustrated tape measure neatly presenting his contact details.
